Nica Huestegge is a nerd by nurture (got her first soldering iron at age 6, first computer at age 9), computer scientist by university degree and a project manager by heart.
She has led successful and unsuccessful IT- and non-IT projects for ten years in retail and telecommunications before switching to the vendor side 2015, with joining Capgemini.
At Capgemini, Nica explored the automotive sector and enjoys the complexity and mixture of reliable history and brand new technology. She has led diverse international teams, from small agile teams to multi-structured maintenance and support teams over three shores. Currently, as Delivery Executive for a big German OEM she is responsible for software maintenance, support and development projects around the production systems that are productive in more than 40 plants worldwide.
In her role as Head of Digital Customer Experience Core at Capgemini she is responsible for Capgemini’s German DCX Core Practice. Capgemini’s DCX Practice offers a rich and wholesome customer experience for their clients, who are leaders in their field. Nicas team assists with Experience Design, Transformation Consulting, Marketing Execution, Architecture and Technology integration.
Nica understands herself as a servant leader, enabling her team to get the safety and perspective they need to perform and to deliver agile and scalable projects.
