on February 13, 2026

Senior leaders from Daimler Truck, Toyota North America, General Motors, Mitsubishi Motors North America, PPG, Subaru of America, Hyundai and Nissan North America confirmed for 2 June 2026.

The Women Automotive Network has unveiled the agenda for the 2026 Detroit Summit, returning to Novi, Michigan on June 2 for its third year.

The industry is moving faster than most leadership pipelines can keep up with. The 2026 program has been built around three themes designed to meet that reality: Leadership. Mindful Momentum. Thriving Together.

Leadership. Mindful Momentum. Thriving Together.

Who's on Stage

The 2026 programme features senior leaders from across the automotive ecosystem, including:

Tracy Mack-Askew, Chief Engineer, Daimler Truck

Michelle Andersen, VP of Corporate Strategy, General Motors

Matthew Stich, VP Purchasing, Toyota North America

Kim Ito, VP, Chief Marketing Officer, Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc.

Amy Sgrignoli, VP of Connected Business, Subaru of America

Stephen Livingston, Co-Chair Women of Ford, Ford Motor Company

Alisha Bellezza, SVP, Automotive & Packaging Coatings, PPG

Stefanie Stamatopoulos, Vehicle Operations Manager, Nissan North America

With additional speakers from Stellantis, Hyundai America and Alix Partners to be announced.

Stephanie May, Community Director at the Women Automotive Network, said:

“The 2026 agenda reflects what our community is actively navigating, increasing complexity, compressed decision cycles, and the need to develop leadership capability at the same pace as technology. Detroit is where those conversations move from theory to practical accountability.”

Matthew Stich, VP Purchasing at Toyota North America, added:

“The automotive industry is at a defining inflection point and the voices shaping what comes next must be broader, bolder, and more inclusive.”

What to Expect on the Day

  • Daimler Truck's, Chief Engineer, Tracy Mack-Askew sharing what it takes to lead product teams through transformation.
  • Toyota, GM and Mitsubishi Motors on stage together exploring what defines leadership when the landscape shifts faster than the talent pipeline.
  • A session on how AI and digital tools are already changing frontline workforce performance, not in theory, but in practice.
  • Private workshops running throughout the day for focused, closed-door conversations.
  • A closing open-floor panel with no script and no pre-submitted questions, just a room of senior leaders and an open mic.

This means you won’t just listen. You will engage with senior perspectives, test your thinking in discussion, and exchange experiences with a room full of professionals like you across the industry.

The day closes with the Women Automotive Awards and a networking reception running into the evening alongside AutoTech Detroit, giving attendees access to a second major industry gathering back-to-back.

Why Detroit Matters in 2026

Last year, 500+ professionals from more than 200 companies spent a day in Novi. 69% from OEMs and Tier 1–2 suppliers, 48% at Director level and above. This year, more than 850 attendees are expected in-person and online.

Whether you are leading at executive level, driving delivery within your function, or building your career in this fast-moving industry, this is a room built for the conversations that actually move things forward.

My journey into the automotive industry happened quite unexpectedly, sort of by chance. At the time, I was actually on the lookout for a new job in Marketing, which had always been my dream career.
