The automotive industry is moving decisively toward cloud-based, AI-enabled operations. For OEMs, National Sales Companies (NSCs) and importers, the challenge is no longer whether to invest in digital technologies, but how quickly new capabilities can be deployed, governed and scaled across increasingly complex organisations.
That shift is changing more than the software automotive companies use. It's fundamentally changing how enterprise software is evaluated, purchased and deployed.
As part of this evolution, Nextlane, the European leader in automotive retail software, has expanded its presence on AWS Marketplace with the availability of CRMAuto Sales and Remarketing. By making these solutions available through one of the world's leading enterprise cloud marketplaces, Nextlane is giving major automotive players another trusted route to discover, procure and deploy enterprise software within an ecosystem many already rely on.
The announcement comes at a pivotal moment for Spain's technology sector. Earlier this year, Amazon announced plans to invest €33.7 billion in AWS cloud infrastructure in Aragón through 2035, the company's largest cloud investment outside the United States. The investment is expected to contribute approximately €31.7 billion to Spain's GDP while supporting an average of 29,900 full-time equivalent jobs annually, reinforcing Spain's position as one of Europe's fastest-growing cloud and AI hubs.
This is more than a product announcement. It signals how the connected automotive ecosystem is evolving. OEMs, NSCs and importers are moving away from disconnected point solutions in favour of integrated cloud platforms that improve connectivity, scalability and operational efficiency across the automotive value chain.
As digital transformation accelerates, competitive advantage will increasingly depend not only on selecting the right technologies, but also on removing the barriers to enterprise adoption. Trusted cloud ecosystems such as AWS Marketplace are becoming an important part of that transformation.
