Elena is responsible for developing the overall strategy and business plan for the automotive sales team within EMEA, including driving the strategies of the Embedded Business Unit and Automotive Division to increase market share, revenue and unit shipment growth. Through her work, she fosters collaboration and alignment across group functions, setting direction and inspiring, developing, and energizing team members to enable execution excellence. She joined Micron in 2003 following earlier roles at Numonyx and ST, where she started in R&D as Senior Lithography Process Engineer. Throughout her career, Elena worked with the biggest Automotive customers in Europe driving cross-functional activities and teams in USA, Europe, APAC and Japan.
Elena was born in Italy in 1977 and is married with two kids, Riccardo e Giulia. She has a master’s degree in physics and has lived in Munich since 2013. She loves swimming, metal music, reading, and spending time with her family.
