Renault Trucks Germany

Meet our partner

The French truck manufacturer Renault Trucks has been offering professional transportation solutions since 1894, from light commercial vehicles to heavy-duty tractor units. Renault Trucks is committed to the energy transition and offers fuel- efficient vehicles as well as a complete range of 100 % electric trucks from 2.8 to 44 tons.

Renault Trucks, as a brand of the Volvo Group, took the strong decision that building on the journey of decarbonization needs to be the core to the company’s strategy and part of its corporate social responsibility. This challenge is tackled by constantly improving the energy efficiency of the diesel trucks, by extending the life of the vehicles in a circular approach and by devising 100 % electric solutions for emission-free transport.

Renault Trucks Germany is committed to women as part of the Volvo Group's diversity policy. To raise awareness of diversity in general and the advancement of women in particular, Renault Trucks Germany is initiating the first German Women's Inclusion Network for all female employees.

"Supporting women in the automotive sector is the focus at Renault Trucks," says Mandy Böbinger, People & Culture Director of Renault Trucks Germany. "In Germany, women make up over 30 % of our workforce – and 50 % of the management team. The Volvo Group aims to achieve a percentage of 35

% by 2030. This shows that we are already on the right track at Renault Trucks Germany."

Diversity is firmly anchored in the Volvo Group's values. This is why the Women's Inclusion Network (WIN) was initiated in Germany. The aim is to create a forum in which female employees of the Volvo Group in Germany can exchange ideas and support each other to promote inclusion and diversity.
