She is an effective communicator, adaptive and quick decision maker, and possesses strong analytical thinking skills. Balancing sustainability and growth, she remains open to novel experiences to expand her horizons.
Her experience includes analyzing the needs, challenges, limitations, and strengths of both innovative and conventional products and processes. Additionally, she is widely networked in the industry and sees herself as best placed to navigate innovative products into new markets and industrialisation.
We caught up with her for an interview. Here is what she had to say:
Why did you join the Women Automotive Network?
To enhance my network with like minded women in the industry. Also, I dont see many women at my work place, especially in engineering and I wish to know and believe that women are actively seeking careers in the Automotive industry.
Why is DE&I important to you?
I believe a person should be evaluated based on the calibre regardless of the identities s/he carries. Being a Mechanical engineer and leading core engineering activities, I find it is a very lonely journey as a female, and I hope more women can see the possibilities in engineering for a career.
What is the number one automotive trend you are keeping up with currently?
Electrification of commercial vehicles.
What are your predictions for the automotive industry in 2023?
Electric vehicles, Autonomous vehicles.
