Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (VWGoA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG — one of the world's leading automobile manufacturers and the largest carmaker in Europe. Founded in 1955 and headquartered in Reston, Virginia, VWGoA is the U.S. home for a distinguished family of global brands including Volkswagen, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, and Bugatti, as well as VW Credit, Inc. The company employs approximately 10,000 people across the United States and sells vehicles through a network of around 1,000 independent dealers. VWGoA also operates a state-of-the-art assembly facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee, producing Volkswagen vehicles including the Atlas, Atlas Cross Sport, and ID.4.
