The Women Automotive Network, a platform dedicated to supporting and empowering women and their allies in the automotive industry, is proud to announce its highly anticipated inaugural summit in Detroit.
Scheduled for June 4, 2024, at the prestigious Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI, this event promises to be a landmark gathering for industry professionals, visionaries, and allies.
The Network has built a dynamic community within the United States and is now bringing together this community of women and their allies in Detroit for a day of celebration, inspiration and networking.

Automotive professionals are invited to get inspired by the Network’s line-up of influential speakers who are driving the automotive industry forward, including a vast array of keynote speakers, including Claudia Marquez, COO, Genesis Motor North America; Sabrina Yuan, VP Strategy and Business Development Company, Cariad Inc. – a Volkswagen Group Company; and Ashwini Balasubramanian, General Manager - Advanced Engineering, Harley Davidson Motor Company I President, Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation.
There will also be a number of interactive workshops led by well-known industry powerhouses, enabling attendees to participate in hands-on sessions on topics such as: ‘Changing Gears: Strategies for Women to Lead with Confidence in the Auto Industry’; ‘How to Prevent the Extinction of Automotive Brand Loyalty & Increase Customer Retention’; and ‘10 Easy Steps to Beat Performance Review Bias’.

On the evening of June 2, following the Detroit Summit, the Women Automotive Network presented two awards at the 2026 AutoTech Awards: the Woman Automotive Leader of the Year and the People and Culture Excellence Award.
On June 2, the Women Automotive Network came to Detroit. 714 professionals, 235 companies, 16 countries in person and online, all with their own reasons and why.
