Change is everywhere in our industry – but how do we make it meaningful? At the upcoming Europe Summit, CPC Unternehmensmanagement AG is leading a workshop designed to help women turn resistance into drive. In this guest article, Jördis Andersson explores what it really takes to lead change with clarity, empathy, and impact.
Change is no longer the exception – it’s the new normal. Especially in the automotive industry, transformation is constant: from the shift to e-mobility and new digital business models to restructuring and hybrid work. Everyone working in this field is navigating ongoing change.
But change doesn’t automatically lead to progress. Without clarity, involvement and emotional resonance, it often results in friction, withdrawal – or silent resistance.
Change isn’t just about structures. It shapes our daily work lives: new goals, unfamiliar processes, competing priorities. Many women experience this first-hand – leading projects, guiding teams, driving initiatives across departments. In the process, they encounter tension, uncertainty, and invisible barriers.
What if that very resistance became a source of energy? A starting point for drive, direction and impact?
Change is never just a technical or structural matter. It touches mindsets, emotions, and relationships. To lead it effectively, we need to understand how people experience it:
– What does change feel like? – How does it affect teams, leaders, individuals? – And what helps people not just adapt, but grow through it?
Our workshop “From Resistance to Drive” creates a space to explore these questions. It brings together inspiration, reflection and peer exchange in an interactive format. Participants reflect on personal experiences, share insights, and explore how they can make a difference – in their own teams, projects and organizations. Regardless of job title or level.
A timely topic – and an open invitation
In an industry where change has become constant, we need people who provide direction, build clarity, and actively shape what comes next. This workshop is an invitation to women from all areas of the automotive sector – no matter their position or experience. Because change affects all of us.
And the ability to lead it? It’s not a matter of hierarchy – it’s a capability we can all develop.
