Count down to the Women Automotive Network Summit -June 22nd to 23rd, 2022.

Earlier this year (March 7^th, 2022), we were thrilled to kick off the week of International Women’s Day celebrations with 408 attendees joining us virtually from 35 countries for the Women Automotive Spring Meetup. It was an afternoon of networking, with keynotes from inspirational women in automotive, focusing on leadership and career development.

 

We are happy to inform you that on the 22^nd and 23^rd of June 2022, we will see yet another exciting event -The Women Automotive summit (WAN).  The summit is part of the efforts of WAN to develop newer and more strategic ways to bring together thought leaders and industry experts to weigh in on inclusion and diversity, share experiences, and propose productive ways of collaboratively contributing to productivity, growth, and sustenance in business operations and the society at large.

The two days of networking and discussion aims to celebrate Inspirational Women in the automotive industry, exploring how diversity drives Innovation, as well as connecting everyone in attendance with new businesses and personal contacts.

 

The Women Automotive Summit promises to be very rich and informative.  Seasoned speakers and representatives from McKinsey & Company, Volkswagen, Forbes, Capgemini, Toyota Motor Europe, Ford Motor Company, Daimler Truck AG, Micron, Volvo, Jaguar Land Rover, and a host of others will grace the event.

“Since launching the Women Automotive Network, we’ve had endless automotive professionals reach out to ask us about mentoring, so launching this new scheme seemed like an absolute no-brainer to us,” said Stephanie May, the Women Automotive Network’s Commercial Director while speaking to what the June summit holds. Stephanie May further added that “another reason behind the scheme’s launch, is the Network’s huge drive towards actioning change in the automotive sector, by pushing industry diversity to new heights. The scheme aims to support women in the #automotive industry by promoting networking, and career development”.

Clearly, the Women Automotive Summit aims to achieve a lot. It will demonstrate how to optimize performance and maximize one’s full potential through effective collaborations, creativity and improved connections with businesses and value chain.
